His extensive background equips him with a broad perspective, enabling him to offer forward-looking analyses across various sectors including stocks, foreign exchange, bonds, and commodities. With an MBA acquired through training in both the UK and the US, Professor Wong has not only honed his analytical skills but also imparted knowledge as a lecturer in MBA programs at esteemed universities in China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Previously, he held the esteemed position of Chief Strategic Officer at Crown One Asset Management.
Beyond his prowess in the financial sector, Professor Wong is an active figure in community organizations, serving as the Director of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce Limited, Honorary Chairman of Hong Kong Swatow Merchants Association Limited, and Honorary member of Rotary Club of Golden Bauhinia Hong Kong.

Mr. Wong has been working in the financial industry since 2003, with experiences serving clients in a wide range of industries, including building and construction, electronics, entertainment and gaming, hygiene and sanitary, information technology, mining, pharmaceutical and healthcare, retail chain stores, and telecommunication, etc.
Having performed more than a thousand of appraisals and appraisal reviews, and provided opinions of value for transaction, financial reporting and litigation purposes, with his extensive knowledge and coverage over a broad range of assets including but not limited to business enterprises, intangible assets, derivatives, real estates, etc., Derek also advised on corporate and deal structures to facilitate mergers and acquisitions and presented as an expert witness in the High Court of Hong Kong. He also advises on strategic prospects to optimize clients’ stock valuation as well as seeking synergistic merger and acquisition opportunities.
In 2021, he was one of recipients of the American Society of Appraisers Rising Stars Award in recognition of his contributions to the industry.

Macy is a seasoned valuation specialist with over six years of dedicated experience in business and intangible asset valuation, underpinned by more than a decade in financial and economic analysis. Her career spans multiple jurisdictions including Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and the United States, where she has advised clients across a wide range of sectors such as financial services, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, renewable energy, construction, and education.
Prior to her valuation career, Macy worked as an analyst in the Investment Research Department at Hong Kong Economic Journal and was the programme coordinator for the financial television programme International Financial Perspectives, sharpening her skills in data-driven financial storytelling.
Now based in the UK, Macy brings deep expertise in international valuation standards (IFRS, US GAAP, IVS) and supports engagements for financial reporting, transaction advisory, and dispute resolution. Her analytical approach combines advanced modelling techniques with sector knowledge, ensuring rigorous and insightful outcomes for clients.
She is currently expanding her focus into ESG and sustainable finance, integrating environmental, social, and governance considerations into valuation processes and investment analysis. Macy holds the CFA designation, is a Certified ESG Analyst, and is accredited in Business Valuation by AICPA.
